June 28, 2011 - David Gorin & Associates is working with a client in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, TN area to locate a strategic partner to work with them in developing and operating a new RV park. The RV Resort at Apple Valley will be part of a broader master development that will include a country inn/hotel, a folk school and a variety of other outdoor recreational activities.

DGA now has a second office location in Longboat Key, FL, just outside Sarasota. The new satellite office enable DGA to serve clients throughout the southeast. The office is just a 50 minute drive to Tampa International Airport, allowing Gorin to serve clients wherever they are located.
David Gorin taught at the National School of RV Park & Campground Management, February 22-26, at Oglebay Park, in Wheeling, WV. His classes included Construction Planning, Re-Engineering a Older Park and a Tax Planning elective. David expects to return to the school for its 2012 session next February. David founded the school in 1994 during his tenure as President of ARVC and has classes each year since (except for 2008 when he was involved in the development of a new park in Florida). DGA is currently assisting several park companies in identifying and engaging professional level general managers.
DGA is working with a major investor group in considering feasibility of developing a new RV park on one of the most desirable and highest-demand locations in the United States. And the company is also working with a current park owning group to identify and acquire new properties and upgrade them to a modern 21st century outdoor resort.
DGA has been engaged in providing feasibility studies for developers in the Tidewater area of Virginia, the mountains of North Carolina and the North Carolina coast. On the calendar for the coming months are projects in Florida, Alabama and Virginia.
DGA has been working with park owners in Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee on upgrading and revitalization planning for existing parks.
David Gorin is assisting a client involved in a lawsuit with a vendor.
